City council open seats

Open positions for the 2025 Elections include:

Mayor and 2 (two) city council seats.  

Candidate must be a qualified elector.  Forms available on the Boise County Website under Elections and City Declaration Forms Updated.


DEADLINE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, 2025 5 PM.



"Qualified elector"

 any person who is eighteen (18) years of age, is a United States citizen and who has resided in the State of Idaho and in the City of  Placerville at least thirty (30) days next preceding the election at which he desires to vote, and who is registered as required by law.  Candidates must be a qualified elector. Candidate window is open and closes at 5 PM August 29, 2025.  Candidate forms can be found at city hall or online at CITY DECLARATION FORMS, https://www.boisecounty.us/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/City-Declaration-Forms-Updated.pdf, or contact the city clerk at placervilleclerk110@ gmail.com


Announcements

BUILDING PERMITS are required within city limits.

Please contact the city clerk at placervilleclerk110@ gmail.com for an application.  Council meetings are held once a month, the first Saturday of each month.  Building permits are approved at council meetings.  Applications and required documents must be submitted at least 72 hours before a council meeting.  If you need one quickly, please plan ahead in order for your application to be included on a current agenda.


Permits are for building projects including but not limited to: deck, roof, lean-to, new home, etc.
